The Cardif Lab’, a concrete expression of BNP Paribas Cardif’s digital strategy

BNP Paribas Cardif rolled out a digital transition plan in late 2012 to help it achieve its strategic objective of becoming a digital insurer. One of the plan's key components is the new Cardif Lab'.
 
Located at the company's head office in the outskirts of Paris, the Cardif Lab' opened in May 2014. It spans ten areas that showcase the digital innovations developed by BNP Paribas Cardif in many the countries where it operates, as well as some of the new technologies that offer a glimpse of how the insurance industry will develop in the future.

The Cardif Lab' is open to all of the company's employees and partners and is designed to:
  • Help cascade a digital culture across the organization, thanks to a "test and learn" approach that gives all employees the opportunity to learn more about digital technologies, test innovations and talk to the experts.
  • Showcase BNP Paribas Cardif's digital solutions and competitive strengths, which enable it to meet the needs of its customers and partners in a constantly changing environment.
  • Deepen understanding of the digital challenges faced by BNP Paribas Cardif's partners in their own industries and encourage discussion and experience sharing.
