Michael Fehn, CEO, EON Group, Czech Republic, answers our question regarding his partnership with BNP Paribas Cardif and the development of an insurance activity.
For how long have you been partner with BNP Paribas Cardif and what are the fruits of this partnership ?
We have been partner since june 2013, with the test sale of a budget protection insurance that helps to protect from unpaid bills. After the success of this operation, we have offered this insurance, E.ON Zajištění, to all our clients. It has been integrated in a package that includes electricity supply.
Do you propose this offer to other client segments ?
We have a very sophisticated segmentation that allows us to propose offers that really meet the consumption habits of our clients. Insurance naturally completes them. With the help of BNP Paribas Cardif, we thus adjust the protection level and the warranties according to our different clients types.
For example, we have developed a similar product for the SOHO segment (Small Office - Home Office). We also sell it as a stand-alone product, without electricity supply.
How do you see your parternship with BNP Paribas Cardif in the future ?
We are currently working jointly to the creation of new services that associate insurance to our electricity supply offer. With the help of BNP Paribas Cardif, we also optimize constantly our sales processes, by diversifying our distribution channels.
