Jean-Bertrand Laroche

Deputy Chief Operating Officer, International Markets

 

Education and beginnings:

Jean-Bertrand Laroche is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques of Paris (economics & finance department).

 

Career:

Jean-Bertrand Laroche started his career in 1996 within Groupe Prado (now part of AG2R – La Mondiale, a leading welfare and pension French institution), subsequently holding a series of positions in finance, asset management and insurance before becoming Deputy General Manager. He entered the BNP Paribas Group in 1997 as Head of Cardif in Italy. In 2002, he moved to the BNP Paribas Cardif  International Department to take in charge Southern, Central and Eastern Europe.

 

He joined the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Cardif in 2007, as co-Head of International covering Asia, Latin America and Emerging markets. In 2009, Jean-Bertrand Laroche was appointed Head of Partnerships Channel.

 

Today:

Jean-Bertrand Laroche has been Head of International Markets since 2014 (Europe excluding Domestic Markets, Asia and Latin America). He is Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Committee of BNP Paribas Cardif.
