Rebranding of Fortis Emeklilik Hayat

A press conference gathering 32 journalists was held on July 18th at the Four Seasons Bosphorus, to inform both of the rebranding of Fortis Emeklilik Hayat* and of the appointment of Cemal Kismir as General Manager of BNP Paribas Cardif in Turkey.
Fortis Emeklilik Hayat*, acquired by BNP Paribas Cardif in October 2010, has been operating in Turkey since 1997 and will continue its operations under the brand BNP Paribas Cardif Emeklilik.
While BNP Paribas Cardif in Turkey will provide service in private pension and life insurance products under the brand of BNP Paribas Cardif Emeklilik, the brand names of BNP Paribas Cardif Sigorta and BNP Paribas Cardif Hayat Sigorta companies, offering credit protection insurance since 2007, have also been positioned under the roof of BNP Paribas Cardif.
The press coverage following the conference included 18 news in daily newspapers such as : Hurriyet, the most widely-circulated newspaper with 1,8 million readers; Haberturk, the most popular economic newspaper supplement with 1million readers; two news broadcasted on Cnbc-e and Bloomberg TV channels. In August, an interview of Cemal Kismir will also be published in Capital, the top monthly economic magazine in Turkey.
