Cardif improves service offering Cardif Cares

A few months ago, Cardif launched its enhanced service offering and related website www.cardifcares.nl
This website offers the policyholders more then just an insurance policy and payment of a claim. The newly offered services propose many improvements in the offer of practical assistance for policyholders in a high-impact claim situation.

“By introducing these specialised services, Cardif wants to help the insured getting back on their feet in case of an unpleasant event.The newly offered services can assist the insured in the case of income loss due to unemployment, disability and decease “ explains Marieke van Zuien, head of Corporate Communications and CSR.

Policy holders can count on the following practical support, divided into five categories:

  • Finding work: CV-check by professional job coach, practise a job interview
  • Legal advice: screening of employment agreement or dismissal proposal, subscription on JuroFoon for immediate legal advice
  • Budget management: budget coach, saving tips
  • Help in case of decease: notification service
  • Help with disability: reimbursement of own contribution WMO and rehabilitation tips.

In the videos published on the website, tips are given on how to prepare for and behave during a job interview.

The services are meant for customers who receive a claim payment from Cardif. They are free of charge. In two cases a small contribution is requested. Cardif informs the brokers and the insured actively about the new opportunities.
