Cardif launches its first international signature: "Ensuring your trust"

In line with its corporate advertising campaign in France, Cardif raises awareness of its brand on the various international markets by launching its corporate signature.
“Ensuring your trust” highlights Cardif’s attributes on the international stage :
  • As a specialist in banking and insurance, Cardif is a global leader in the savings and protection markets, and world N° 2 in Creditor Insurance;
  • As a local player, Cardif gives priority to long-term relationships with its partners and seeks to develop an interpersonal relationship with them, enabling it to cater to everyone’s needs with innovative, tailor-made products.

Cardif distributes its products through financial institutions, brokers, asset management professionals and large distributors in 32 countries. Cardif has established partnerships with 35 of the top 100 global banks. It has already created 7 joint ventures which strengthen its lasting commitment with its partners

“Ensuring your trust” is launched through an advertising campaign and a corporate video.

Advertising campaign

Created by the TBWA agency, this advertising campaign consists of two images whose catchline, “At Cardif your are not just a number”, conveys the authentic, strong and lasting relationship that Cardif develops with its partners. In keeping with BNP Paribas’ advertising style, which is intentionally off-beat for greater visibility, the images show a Cardif representative meeting with a partner in a universe of figures. The first image shows a restaurant, the gastronomy echoing Cardif’s French roots. The second image shows the same scenario, this time on a “golf course”, a sport which is played around the world and by a large number of decision-makers.

Translated into 5 languages, this advertising insert will be seen during the second half of 2006 in pan - European (The Economist, Financial Times Europe&Asia), pan-Asian and pan-American (America Economia) titles. It will be strengthened, taking the local context into account, by publication in the economic press of 6 different countries (Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Japan, Mexico and Taiwan).

Corporate film

Designed with an international target audience in mind (clients and prospective clients) by Europimages, the aim of this film is to promote Cardif’s savoir-faire. The film is built upon a series of testimonies from around the world (Taipei, Paris, Santiago de Chile, Warsaw, Seoul, and London). Each of the people giving testimonies, all of whom are Cardif top managers performing their duties at an international level, uses their native language to illustrate Cardif’s proximity to the needs of its partners. The sequences alternate presentations of products and services, business meetings with partners and social scenes outside of the work environment. In each sequence the viewer sees the universe specific to each country through the streets of its capital.

This film has subtitles in 7 languages: English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, Chinese and Arabic.
