Olivier Cortes

Olivier Cortes is a graduate of French engineering school Ecole Centrale de Paris and also an ex-pupil of the prestigious graduate school Ecole Nationale d'Administration (class of Nelson Mandela).

After a preliminary career in French government, Olivier Cortes joined BNP Paribas Cardif in 2005 in order to set up a regulatory lobbying service.

After creating subsidiaries in Algeria and Turkey, beginning in 2006, he was appointed head of the Northern Europe-North American region in 2007.  He later became Financial Director of BNP Paribas Cardif in July 2009 and more recently, a member of the BNP Paribas Cardif executive committee in January 2012.
